The full garden design service, taking you from initial
ideas right through to your perfect finished space

Consultation
This first visit is simply about getting to know you and your garden.
We'll talk through your wish list: what you love, what frustrates you, the budget you have in mind, and your timeframe. I'll also explain how the design and build process works, so there's nothing unclear about what comes next.
This visit is free. Afterwards, I'll send over a quote for the design work, along with the necessary terms and conditions.
Brief
Once you've decided to go ahead, I'll spend time pulling together a detailed brief. This is where we explore how you want to use the space, what features matter most to you, and the style, colours and planting that feel right for you.
Survey
Next, I'll carry out an in-person survey of your garden - measuring levels, boundaries, existing paving, trees, and the location of pipes and drainage. For larger or more complex gardens, I may bring in a specialist surveying company to ensure everything is precise.
Design
This is where things begin to take shape. I'll put together an initial concept plan and mood boards, so you can picture how everything fits together rather than imagining it from a description alone.
Once we've settled on a direction you're happy with, I'll create the full presentation plans, with detail behind every element of the design. If you'd like, I can also prepare a planting plan showing exactly what goes where, and in what quantities.
Build
With the full specification ready, I can recommend trusted, accredited landscapers I've worked with before, so you can obtain quotes for the build. If you'd like, I can also oversee the project as it progresses, to ensure everything is built as designed.
Once any landscaping is complete, I can take care of the planting too, or work with you if that's something you enjoy.
Design Fees
Every garden is different, so the cost of a design naturally varies. Fees for the full professional design package starts at £2500 and will depend on the size of the space and the complexity of the design.
